Why Rise exists

Most men fighting for purity know the moment after a fall better than anyone: the shame, the hiding, the promise that next time will be different. That moment is when a man most needs grace, and it’s exactly where Rise begins.

Rise is a companion for that fight. Not a filter and not a scoreboard: a verse in the morning, honest truth at night, help one tap away when it’s hard, and the sun coming back up after a fall. It’s built on a promise as old as Proverbs: “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.”

What we believe

• Grace over shameThe screen you see after a fall is the most loving one in the app. Shame keeps men hiding; grace gets them back up.
• Honesty over streaksRise counts honest days before clean ones. Telling the truth about a hard day is the muscle that wins.
• Allies over willpowerNo one wins this alone. Rise makes it one tap to let the people you trust know it’s hard.
• Formation over filtrationFences help, but a full mind helps more. Rise fills it with Scripture you can carry (Philippians 4:8).
• Sacred privacyYour confessions live on your phone and nowhere else. No account, no tracking, nothing sold.

Who makes Rise

We’re two men who believe mercy is bigger than anyone’s worst night, and who wanted to build the tool we wished existed: honest, hopeful, and private. We build Rise ourselves, and we read every email.

How Rise stays free

Rise is free, with no ads and no selling your data, and nothing you need when it’s hard will ever be locked behind a payment. In time, people who’ve been helped will be able to give to keep it that way.
